20 Egg free GAPS friendly foods (gluten free, dairy free, paleo)

egg free recipes

For years you’ve been asking for egg free recipes. And for years I’ve given you very few- eggs have been an inexpensive, nutritious, and versatile source of protein for our diet for the past 5 years and since we didn’t need to remove them, I didn’t have many recipes to share with you.

Eczema progression egg sensativity

1- eczema onset two weeks ago while being gluten and dairy free already; 2 – Seven days egg free as well as gluten and dairy free, eczema is clear; 3- three days of eating eggs again and eczema is back

But now I have a nursling who, through trial and error with my diet, is determined to be getting eczema from eggs.  We’ll be egg free until he’s starting solids, then I’ll put us both through the GAPS intro at about 12 months, just like I did with my 5-year-old for his dairy-caused eczema.

I was able to catch this fairly quickly, and since I have experience changing my diet it’s really not that big of a deal for us.  I’m glad I can help this little guy!

So, what will we eat with an egg allergy?

Here are some ideas:

  1. Breakfast sausage
  2. Smoothies made with coconut milk
  3. Cocoa truffles
  4. Sesame Seed Crackers
  5. Veggie-packed meatballs
  6. Chicken salad made with egg free mayo
  7. Ants on a log (celery with peanutbutter and raisins)
  8. Salmon patties work without the eggs
  9. Eggless mayo
  10. Liver pate
  11. Lentil burgers
  12. Chilled beet soup
  13. Burrito Bowls
  14. Toasted sesame stir fry
  15. Spaghetti Squash with meat sauce

  1. Thank you for these recipes! The link of apple pancakes sends me to Apple Latkes, though, which contain 4 eggs!?

    Keep up the good work,

  3. Thanks for the eggless links! My 10 year old son is on a strict elimination diet to get to the bottom of his health issues and he can’t have eggs (or much else!) yet. How can I make the apple pancakes without eggs? The recipe linked has four eggs in it.

  4. Congrats on the new little one! I must have missed the baby news.

  5. Congratulations on your little baby!! How is he? Somehow I missed this. I’m sorry!

  6. What is the recipe for the egg free mayo?
