Cinnamon and Honey at the First Sign of a Cold

I usually stir my honey cinnamon mixture into tea, and the children use theirs as dip for fruit. I love having something that can work on that dreaded ‘I think I’m getting sick’ feeling.
Elderberry Syrup to Boost The Immune System
Black elderberries grow commonly in the wild in many parts of the world, and they are inexpensive to order online as well. I made the dried elderberries into homemade elderberry syrup, added a tablespoon of dried berries to applesauce I was making in the crockpot, and I add some to tea sometimes.
Ginger Tea with Honey for Sore Throats
Ginger tea is a warming winter drink, which is recommended on the GAPS Diet and prefect for soothing winter sore throats.
Chicken Stock for good nutrition when sick
Homemade chicken stock is easy to digest and full of the nutrients needed to keep a healthy immune system or heal when feeling run down. Homemade chicken stock is so easy to make, promise me you won’t be buying any canned soup this year, okay?
