T-Tapp- A 15 Minute Workout that works!

I started T-Tapp’s 15-minute Basic Workout Plus a month ago today.   T-Tapp is a really neat workout, it is a whole body workout that works different muscles layer by layer.  With the Basic Workout Plus that I do, just as I start feeling tired, it switches to another muscle group.

The workout wasn’t overwhelming to me, but I was tired at the end, had worked up a sweat, and had that extra energy the rest of the day that a good workout gives you. All from 15 minutes of following along with a DVD!  I’ve tried joining gyms in the past, but never stuck with it.  T-Tapp is easy to stick with since it’s just 15 minutes and you don’t have to drive any where.

A week later I printed out the ‘flat tummy’ sequence and started doing that before the 15-minute workout, as I was curious to see if I could actually re-position this belly that carried two adorable babies (if you didn’t know, I gained over 60 lbs with each of my pregnancies. I was able to easily lose the weight, but everything didn’t exactly go back where it was before. You moms know what I’m talking about!).

Over the past thirty days, it’s been my intention to do the 15-minute workout 5-6 times a week, but in reality it only happened 3-4 times a week. Even still, I have noticed a huge difference in my saggy baby belly! I’m down two notches on my belt (about an inch, the notches aren’t very far apart), and I’m fitting into a skort now that I didn’t fit very well when I got it a couple months ago.  I haven’t been changing my eating habits during this time, I’m still sticking with low grains, real whole foods 90ish percent of the time, with a little bit of ice cream thrown in on the weekends.

This isn’t all for vanity- I have loads of energy in the afternoon now too, and T-Tapp really strengthens your core, which improves your posture and makes you feel good.  I am prone to tendinitis when I use my hands a lot for repetitive activities, but after the T-Tapp workout, the soreness is gone.  It may be from increased blood flow with activity, or stretching, but it works for me!

Just going by how my clothes fit, how my tummy looks, and how I feel, I’m thrilled to say that T-Tapp works really well!  I love it that it’s a 15 minute workout.  While I’d love to get up before the kids and do it then… my daughter wakes up at 6:00 and that’s early enough for me!  So I do it after they go down for a nap at 11:00 and I find that it wakes me up and makes me even more productive for the rest of the afternoon.

    I have lots of weight to lose (80+) be be in the healthy weight range. I’m going to a gym for the cardio equipment. When I’m feeling brave I’ll jump on the weight machines. I would love something I can do at home to help tone the areas where I would be loosing inches. Something at home would also give me more time to be with my daughter and less time in the car and nursery.

  • I would love the Tapp Core DVD! I need to get back to the 15 min. workout. I keep saying that….. Oh, have you tried the dry skin brushing? Many people claim it helps pull that tummy skin back into place. I looked for directions online, found a brush at the store and then brushed every morning. I need to get back to that also.

But not only that, I want to get to a point where I can look good again for my husband. He is such a dedicated father that I want to do something nice for him.   • Hey! I’d love to try this. Despite my healthy traditional diet, excercise doesn’t come as easy or as passionately to me. My well meaning intentions to exercise need a PLAN and a method to get them moving! This sounds like a great PLAN for a Mom who’s home-base is at home! I’d love to try this, at home! My husband always reminds me that exercise is also a very important health aspect, so this might help me say- yes honey, I did exercise! And that would probably help prevent any lower back pain in the future. Hope I win!

  • This sounds like a really interesting workout. The idea of 15 minutes makes me want it. I plan on trying Jillian Micheal’s 30 Day Shred next week. This would be great to throw in, since I doubt I’ll be able to do that every day. ;-)

    I’d love to try this! My body is SO out of shape and I feel it every morning I get up and my back is so stiff, and every time I pick up my little bowling ball of a baby! She’s been like 25lbs since around 9 months or so and it’s been wearing me down, my back is so out whack because my muscles are just nonexistent.     i would love to win this. i live in florida and it’s way too hot to get outside with the kids and workout. i have a 21 month old and a 2 month old, i’m tandem nursing and have dropped some weight pretty fast, but my energy levels are almost non existant. i need something to really get myself going again, and i think this might be helpful. i’ve tried some other videos but they are all a little too much at this point.

I’m on my third pregnancy, and my core muscles are all suffering after three pregnancies in four years. But especially those tummy muscles…talk about flabby tummy!! I will totally need to work on them after I have this baby.

Her siblings are 18,14,& 10yrs old. :) After having her I lost alot of the baby fat that was hanging around from the oldest baby. :) I went from a snug size 12 to a size 1.   • Hey cara! As a LOOONG time t-tapper I can attest to the fact that it makes a huge difference! It is also easy and fun! Some of the advanced moves are odd looking but they really work.
